Über frühe Fliegeruhren, die noch als Taschenuhren im Cockpit verankert wurden, haben wir hier schon berichtet. Bei der preuß. Fliegertruppen gab es solche Uhren aber auch z.B. beim Royal Fyling Corps (RFC).

Die abgebildete DOXA Mark V ist eine solche Uhr. Interessant ist die Cockpithalterung aus Messing in der die Uhr gehalten wurde.
