Leonidas 222 Bw Militaer Chronograph -

Followed that one as well, looked to be in excellent shape. One question about the case though. I seem to recall a guy on MWR having a Leonidas bund with at case very similar to the Heuer: rounded edges, sandblasted look. The one on the bay today looked to have a case exactly like the Italian Leo's: sharp edges, polished. Did the Leo Bund come in two case variations?

Jimmy

And something with the NSN "me thinks". I don't have too many picture references for the Leo Bund's, but have a look at this comparision. The watch in question is at the top:
several letters looks odd and the font of "5" and "3", does not match the bottom three. Which are correct - I tend to trust the bottom three.

Be careful with these comparisons. The BUND used different letter styles - as you can see in the pic from Roberts Heuer BUND:

indeed different fonts exists, and I promise to be careful :zwinkern:
Let us agree that it, regardless of this discussion, was a real nice watch. I'm wearing my EI today./Lars

Not strange but original. Here is my E.I. 533:

:denken:VG

I'm not quite sure that these bands are the only "original". It seems to be the band that was (is) supplied from Ferretti when he sold off two large batches of Leonidas EI a couple of years ago, and they are seen on quite many EI's and some times also on Leo CP2's and the Cairellis.
As I always try to bring my watches back to original state, I have asked the exact same question on Orologi & Passion:
which is the issued band on CP2
The band mentioned here is Elasto-Fixo, which probably also is the band that Lige mentions in this thread on GMWF:
Pantograph-like steel band for EI and AMI CP2
I don't think the Italians had issue numbers on the bands. Regardless of provenance, the various flex bands are fun to wear and makes the watch stand out from the crowd.
flex - forever :zwinkern:
