As an expert on Hanhart watches I was hoping you would give me your thoughts on my 417ES.
I have owned it for many years and was told a while ago that the hands were incorrect. I have subsequently been told that the hands are in fact correct. I have also been told that the chronograph hand is incorrect but also told by others that it is again correct.
I have seen many examples with the same hour and minute hands and also the chronograph hand on quite a few examples.
Are you able to confirm your thoughts as I very nearly replaced the hour and minute hand for the more common type a few years ago on bad advice.
Good evening Walter! I would like to write an Italian translation of your beautiful post in the thread "Hanhart Military Mind Map" obviously reporting your name as the author of the historical reconstruction and the link to the thread, if you give me your consent. I would like to write it on an Italian forum Orologi e Passioni (https://orologi.forumfree.it/) in the military watches section. Waiting for your reply, I send you a warm greeting.

Danke dir
I own a Stowa B Uhr 55 mm B zffb. It has an early number but i dont know exactly how to date it. Any advice would be most welcome! I bought in in the UK with the compass . It was given by a downed german pilot to the father of this lady. It has the manuf number 5278
that sounds very interesting. Please open a thread in the forum and show us some pics. It is much easier to write something, if you can take a look at the watch.
Hello Walter! This is my first post on Vintage-Time. I signed up because I read a lot of interesting and unique information about my favorite watches: the Hankart WW2 chronographs. I have 2 a Kal 40 Eindrücker mit Pointerlünette and a Kal41
Doppeldrücker ohne Drehlünette. Unfortunately I don't speak German but Google translate works very well! I am pleased to see that some members of MWR are registered, such as Emil (Felix) and CFK (Caspar)
